Throttle Body Port & Polish

Intake Manifold Porting

Available specifically for generation IV LSX engines, our porting service is the result of days of dyno testing and airflow engineering. As less costly alternative to replacing the stock manifold, your stock LS manifold can be skillfully hand-ported to achieve dyno-measured gains of up to 7-8rwhp, depending on existing engine modifications. This service can be purchased with a core charge, in which we will send you a ported manifold and then you send us yours when you can, and then you will receive a refund for the core charge, this prevents any down time. Or, you can simply purchase the service, and send your manifold, and you will get your manifold sent back to you finished. The manifold should be sent completely disassembled with no fuel rails, hardware, MAP sensor, or gaskets. Typical turn-around time is 1-2 days plus shipping times.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Oil Pump Porting

Oil pump porting from New Era is a process that involves smoothing inlet and outlet transitions in the pump. This allows for better flow and typically slightly higher oil pressure, as well as preventing cavitation in high rpms. This is especially beneficial to high-horsepower applications. During this service, we can also remove material as needed to create clearance for larger performance timing chains. This service does not include any modification to the bypass piston bore, or “shimming” the bypass piston. Oil pressure at idle should read close to stock specification. This service is available for all LSX factory oil pumps. Typical turn-around time is 1 day plus shipping times.


LSA (Late model ZL1/CTSV) Full Blower Porting, and Blower Snout porting

 

Our full blower (includes the snout) porting service includes a complete disassembly of the LSA supercharger, we drastically open up the supercharger inlet, then we CNC port the Snout exit, and hand port the snout inlet to either 90mm (standard) or 102mm depending on what you require. Then the rotor outlet is massaged and polished, and each individual runner is opened up as well as the top of the ports are all matched, then everything is thoroughly cleaned, and reassembled to spec as well as your choice of pulley size pressed onto the snout.
